Expert Vacation Rental Hosts Since 2020

Boyne's not just where we live, it's where we grew up. Our family has been part of this community for generations, and some of our best memories were made right here: skiing at sunrise, boating on Lake Charlevoix, hiking trails that feel like second homes. This place means something to us. It always has.

 

We started Open Door Property Management to share a piece of that with you. First-timers, long-time visitors, last-minute adventurers—everyone's welcome! What is Your Check in & Check Out Time?
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM (may vary by property). This gives our team time to properly prepare the home for the next guests. Let us know if you need flexibility. We'll do our best to accommodate when possible.
Is There a Minimum Length of Stay Required?
Length of stay varies by property as well as season, please reach out if you have any special requests.

Everything was great! Felt like the place was very clean, especially the bedding which was a good feeling. Very spacious! Loved there were fans in the bedrooms, and extra blankets in the dresser drawers. Beach towels and chairs right outside to sit by the lake was nice. I will say that you can very audibly hear every little noise and footstep upstairs, and anyone talking right outside - just something worth noting if you’re going there for privacy or to relax. But, it’s not terrible.

The cabin was in a beautiful area in the mountains and we loved the location. For the money we paid we were expecting a nicer place though. The cabin needs maintenance: stains on the carpet, all toilet seats broken, couch broken, and pipes loud in the basement when using the bathrooms on the top two floors.
