The cottage is in a great location on the south arm of Lake Charlevoix. …really nice for swimming and boating, with a big deck to enjoy the water view. The inside is nice with the original cottage containing a large living room and a well stocked kitchen, and new bedroom additions at either end. There’s only one bathroom, but it’s laid out well with double sinks and separate shower and toilet rooms, so more than one person can use it at a time. The bedrooms are air conditioned but not the main, older part of the cottage, which got pretty warm when it got very hot outside. Fortunately, there were plenty of fans which helped. It’s worth noting that the bed in the main bedroom is located in a loft, accessible by a metal circular staircase. That can make access tricky, especially if you have to use the bathroom at night.

Amazing setting for a family vacay. We loved sitting on the back deck taking in the lake from sunrise to sunset. My kids loved the dock to fish and swim from. cabin came with a kayak which wasn’t mentioned in listing and was a nice bonus! Great location close to Boyne City as well as Charlevoix. House had all the essentials we needed for the week. Peaceful setting to take in Northern MI.

Amazing house and view! Loved having the boat lift. One thing to note (which maybe I missed in the listing), there is a cooktop but no oven. We loved everything about the place and would definitely come back!

It was a great place to stay on the lake. It was very comfortable and great for family of 5-6 people. Would definitely stay here again! Close by to both East Jordan and Boyne City which have nice restaurants. We liked the smart lock setup, made very easy self-serve way to get in the property.
